ABOUT TAKE-HOME QUIZZES:

There will be one or two Take Home Quizzes per nine week period. You will have at least one week to complete the Take Home Quizzes.

All Take Home Quizzes will be due ON OR BEFORE A SET DATE. A LATE (next class period) TAKE HOME QUIZ WILL LOSE 50 POINTS. TAKE HOME QUIZZES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

In order to dissuade students from just copying someone else’s work, there will be questions on the major exams related to the Take Home Quiz.

Since two or three chapters will generally be covered each nine weeks, there will be two or three major exams per nine weeks period. Approximately 80% of each major exam will cover basic skills and examples from your textbook. The remaining part will cover critical thinking skills; “C” type problems from your book and one question covering a basic concept from the Take Home Quiz.

Do the homework on the same day it is assigned.
